Synopsis: Wine merchant Alex Gates is getting old and is trapped in a boring marriage. Victor Spansky, a safecracker, offers him the opportunity of stealing a valuable necklace. They pull it off but Gates' wife accidently comes into possession of the jewellry. Gates finds himself pursuing his own wife.
